Support Kharkiv Foundation
Support Kharkiv Foundation has been created by the London - based concert pianist and composer GéNIA, who was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, to support the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, its surrounding regions and its citizens, as the city has undergone destruction on a huge scale during the war in Ukraine. It is a micro-trust in aid of GivingWorks, a charity registered in England and Wales (charity registration No.1078770).
We couldn’t do our vital work without your support, it makes a huge difference, so thank you.
Patron
We are honoured to have the renowned British actor Chiwetel Ejiofor as the Official Patron of 'Support Kharkiv Foundation'.

Nearly £1,000 Raised for the Mobile School of Life for Ukrainian Children!
We are delighted to share some heart-warming news. Through the talent, dedication, and generosity of our wonderful community, almost £1,000 has been raised in support of the Mobile School of Life for Ukrainian children. This achievement was made possible through a very special online concert by the Piano-Yoga® students of GéNIA in July.
We invite you to join us at our events, support these campaigns through donations, or even organise your own events and projects to further our mission. Thank you for your continued support and attention! Our Campaign
Our work began in 2022. Since then, we have focused on three main areas: supporting children from Kharkiv and its region, providing medical supplies, and assisting young musicians in Kharkiv.
In 2025, we are running two key campaigns: • “Mobile School for Life”, aimed at supporting the children of Kharkiv. • “Standing by Kharkiv: A Mission of Hope and Healing”, dedicated to helping veterans, their families, and other citizens of the Kharkiv region.
If you’re interested in getting involved, whether through financial support or by offering your expertise as a specialist (e.g., fundraiser, publicist, therapist, artist), we’d love to hear from you! Simply scroll to the bottom of this page and choose your preferred way to contact us.
Our Events
30 September 2025 at 9:15pm at Zédel (the heart of Piccadilly, London)
Award-winning pianist and composer GéNIA invites you to ’Homecoming’ —a moving musical evening that celebrates the warmth, comfort, and emotional depth of returning home. Known for her evocative piano compositions heard in TV series such as Killing Eve, Cold Feet, Close to Me, and Sticks and Stones, GéNIA’s music is also regularly played in Caffè Nero locations across the UK.
This season, GéNIA presents a programme designed to reflect the mellow beauty of autumn—a time when we begin to turn inward and reconnect with what nurtures us. The concert will include the premiere of GéNIA’s new compositions, a selection of her most popular works, and her new piano arrangements of traditional Ukrainian songs—an homage to her heritage and heart.
20% of the artist’s revenue from this performance will be donated to the Support Kharkiv Foundation, a micro-trust in aid of GivingWorks, a charity registered in England and Wales (No.1078770), providing vital aid to those affected by war in Ukraine, especially children
