We are delighted to announce that our next Piano-Yoga® students’ concert will take place on Saturday, 18 January, at 5:00 PM GMT online. With our students located all over the world—from the UK, France, Germany, Holland, Australia, and the USA—we will donate all proceeds to help the children of Kharkiv and its regions, who are currently experiencing tremendous hardship.
Our founder, GéNIA, was born and educated in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Therefore, the education she shares with us is deeply rooted in her Ukrainian heritage.
Kharkiv has been under attack almost daily since the start of the war. A large part of the Kharkiv region was occupied for some time, and while many territories have now been freed, their citizens, especially children, need our help. All the proceeds from this concert will go towards supporting the Mobile School of Life for children from the Kharkiv region, some of whom live in areas that were previously occupied.
One of our most meaningful initiatives, the Mobile School of Life, was created to bring education, care, and the essence of childhood to children from villages across the Kharkiv region.
The war, following closely on the heels of COVID-19, has left many children isolated for years. They’ve missed the opportunity to attend school, participate in group activities, and enjoy the simple joys of childhood. The Mobile School of Life is working to change that. Through creative writing workshops, drawing classes, live puppet theatre (something many children haven’t experienced since 2019!), and other interactive activities, we provide education in a fun and engaging way.
But the Mobile School of Life is more than just an educational programme—it’s a lifeline. It offers children a chance to connect with their peers, express themselves, and rebuild their spirits in the face of unimaginable trauma. By doing so, it also uplifts their families and strengthens their communities.

The concert programme includes works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Schubert, Brahms, Ginastera, and GéNIA, among others. GéNIA will open the evening with a talk about her foundation, the work she has been doing, and how it has shaped her musical choices during these challenging times.
Our concerts always run in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and we look forward to having you join us online!
